SERVICES

Here at EndoCentral we are specialists in Endodontic treatments & surgerys.

Endodontics is the branch of dentistry which is concerned with the morphology, physiology and pathology of the human dental pulp and periradicular tissues. It's study and practice encompass the basic clinical sciences including biology of the normal pulp; the etiology, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases and injuries of the pulp: and associated periradicular conditions.

Bacteria associated with decay, deep restorations, fractures, trauma or periodontal disease may irreversibly damage the pulp. In order to preserve a tooth, in which this has occurred, it is necessary to remove the injured, infected tissue. This procedure is known as root canal therapy.

Fees

Thank you for choosing Endo Central to provide your endodontic care.

The cost of your treatment will be based on the procedure/s required, time and complexity. Most patients are seen for a consultation appointment, and it is at this time that the number of visits and costs will be discussed.

The consultation fee is between $210 and $400. This fee will depend on the number of teeth involved, the type of radiographic assessment required and whether ACC is contributing to your care. We do not deal directly with any insurance companies.

A written treatment plan and a breakdown of fees will be given to you at your visit along with an informed consent.

We ask that you pay for your treatment at the end of each appointment. We accept most major credit cards and internet banking, but we do not have PayWave and are no longer able to take cash.

ACC

If your treatment involves ACC, your claim will need to be registered first. This is usually done by your dentist and involves the completion of an ACC42. Once your injury is registered you will receive a claim number which you will need to bring to your appointment.

ACC will contribute to the cost of your treatment as outlined in the current Schedule of Dentists Costs, but this may not cover all your treatment costs.

Most treatment under ACC requires a prior approval with ACC. This means we need to take up to date radiographs, photographs and a clinical description of the injury.

If you are being treated for an old injury, we still require the original claim number and date of accident. If you no longer have this, it can be obtained by calling ACC directly on 0800 101 996
